  Survey and Statistic on the Visitors to Screen Printing & Signs China 2004

Screen Printing & Signs China 2004 during 15-18 September 2004 closed in
Tianjin successfully. It is a main professional screen printing show in China
sponsored by CSGIA. 248 exhibitors are gathered from all parts of the world
occupying the spacer area of 12,000 square meters. The visitors attracted to
the show amounts to 12.597 totally.

On the survey and statistics, 90.5 percent of the visitors are the local
Chinese. Among them 41.3 percent are from the North China, and 28.4 percent are
from the East. But the visitors from the South China, where screen printing is
competitively developed, accounts 8.1 percent of the total.

The overseas visitors amount to 1,195 accounting for 9.5 percent of the total.
They are from 19 countries and regions in the world. Most are come from South
and East Asia, such as visitor groups of several dozens from Thailand,
Philippine, Korea and Japan, also some visitors from Southeast Asia, Middle
East, Europe, Australia and America. It has shown a strong appeal of the great
potential market of screen printing industrial in China.

According to statistics, the quantity of the visitors coming from screen
printing houses ranks the first, making up 41percent of the total;.the next is
the trading companies, making up 21 percent; the third is distributors, making
up 17 percent.

Among these visitors the persons who have decision- making right on purchasing,
such as CEO, President and section managers accounts for 31 percent of the
total. The persons who can recommend to purchase accounts for 47 per cent. The
visitors with specific purpose for seeking and buying for their demands account
for 17 percent. So the visitors who are related directly to purchasing is up to
48 percent.

For the products in which the visitors are interested mostly, screen printing
machines ranking the first by 31 percent of the visitors. This figure is just
close to 31.3 percent in 2003. Pad printing, transfer and hot stamping machines
ranks as the second by 27 percent. For digital printing products the
interested visitors makes up 23 percent, increased by 14 percent over the
previous year. It has shown that more and more people have turned their eyes to
digital printing in China. The screen printing consumables and supplies makes
up 17 percent.

Based on the survey and statistics on the visitors we conclude with certainty
that quality of the visitors to the show is excellent. Screen Printing & Signs
China has matured and grown up into a recognized professional exhibition in
China and in the world as well. It has fostered an efficient working team, a
broad network of exhibitors and visitors. The next one jointed with ASGA 2005
is held during November 21- 14, 2005 in Guangzhou City Convention Center,
Guangzhou, China.
